McCain won Tues. debate?

I didn't hear him say it (just read it) but Keller supposedly said that John McCain won the debate quite easily, on his WBZ commentary. The Az.Senator not only lost, but was crushed, albeit with a velvet glove.
Either Keller is clueless or he's an egomaniac. The station can do better.

Expect that there are always going to be pundits, analysts and commentators on either side during an election, and I don't think we should get into discussing which candidate "won" the debate because that would be off the topic of this board, which is Boston radio.

Given that Keller's son Barney is the spokesman for the Massachusetts Republican Party, how is that a shock?

I agree with Eli, beyond the fact that Jon Keller works for a Boston media outlet how is this germaine to Boston Radio?

It's almost as germaine as discussing Howie Carr's latest inanities - almost because we cross from radio to TV with Keller. But since Keller is a local media figure (who might just as easily pass back and forth to radio as many media people do) who has some influence on the local audience what he says counts for commentary.

Neither clearly won the debate. But if McCain's purpose was to change the momentum and Obama's purpose was to not allow the momentum to change, then Obama won the contest.

I couldn't agree more. It is NOTHING LESS than the facts..definitely NOT a shocker.
