McGraw-Hill To Sell Television Station Group

I read McGraw-Hill was planning on selling their television stations

They own

  • KMGH-TV, Denver, Colorado (ABC)
    KERO-TV, Bakersfield, California (ABC)
    WRTV, Indianapolis, Indiana (ABC)
    KGTV, San Diego, California (ABC)

  • KZCO-LP Denver, Colorado (Azteca America)
KZCS-LP Colorado Springs, Colorado (Azteca America)
KZSD-LP San Diego, California (Azteca America)
    KZKC-LP Bakersfield, California (Azteca America)

I thought it might be fun to speculate who may buy or who may want these stations?

I don't know about the Azteca stations, but I would like
to see some combination of Denver, San Diego, and
Bakersfield as ABC o&os (CBS has an o&o in Denver; NBC,
in San Diego; Bakersfield effectively borders an ABC o&o
market, Fresno). In the absence of that, I wonder how many
Allbritton could take without exceeding the legal limit of percent
of the country covered?

One other possibility: Fox buys Denver and moves to virtual Ch. 7,
San Diego and gets virtual Ch. 10, or Indianapolis and gets virtual
Ch. 6. I would prefer some scenario that eliminates a bunch of
affiliation switches.
