ME TV adds shows from Warner bros TV

Glad to see the funniest, most underrated comedy of the 1960's..."F Troop!" Watch this show VERY carefully...catch all that's going on, and you will be in tears of laughter. The sight gags are amazing!

Hopefully, Dark Shadows will be seen from Episode 1 :)
And hopefully it will be the original version that became a hit & developed a cult following & not one of those HORRIBLE modernized makeovers (I won't bother watching the makeovers)
Nice to see the Classic WB Shows :)
You mean there are actually Classic shows from that network ??

Cheers & 73 ;D

Correct me if I'm wrong here but I don't see one Warner Brothers show on the schedule. Most are Viacom. A smattering of 20th Century Fox or Revue/Universal but no Warner Brothers.

Gilligan's Island is from Warner Brothers.

WRONG! But thank you for playing. Gilligan's Island was filmed at CBS Studio City (former Republic Pictures lot). It was produced by CBS, Gladysya (Phil Silvers) and UA. Sherwood Schwartz created the show.

^I believe kingskip was referring to the current distribution company for "Gilligan's Island": Warner Bros. Television.

The Love Boat episodes used to be available on CBS.com (in the Classics section) but I noticed the show is no longer available. I wonder if CBS sold the rights to the show.

Hopefully we'll also see classic WB cartoons (Bugs, Daffy and Co.) on MeTV down the road (either Saturday mornings only and/or daily).

I'd love that, but I doubt if it will be on anywhere but Cartoon Network and Boomerang.

Not with the E/I requirements broadcasters have. Affiliates would love NOTHING MORE than to air MeTV's broadcast of these cartoons. Doing so would lighten the load on their end locally

Cheers & 73 ;D

Gilligan's Island somehow became a part of the MGM package that Ted Turner bought for TBS years ago, now owned by Warner Brothers.

Yup, the MGM/UA library, including United Artists TV, which is how WB reacquired its pre-1948 films (purchased in the '50s by AAP, later bought by UA).

BTW, "Gladasya" came from Phil Silvers' greeting "Glad to see ya."

The Patty Duke Show airs at 5AM on THIS, it was never on any Turner channels but was on Nick@Nite for a few years

I believe Turner only acquired the MGM films and TV properties from earlier than 1985 -- including Gilligan's Island, despite that being a UA program. All UA films and TV series (except Gilligan) are still owned by MGM.
