Remington Steele is Remington Fail. The end.

I never watched it first run but did see an episode yesterday here in Phoenix and the acting was atrocious.

Perhaps Me-TV figured there would be curiosity factor getting people to tune in with Pierce Brosnan in it, and Doris Roberts (Everybody Loves Raymond)

With the light comedic lineup at night, I'd think Love Boat could fit in at 11pm or midnight.

Cheers, it's youngest show, is gone from the schedule, but it airs alot on cable.

I see Wagon Train will be on Saturdays. The latest classic series to emerge from the Encore Westerns Makeover Salon ;D (Shows getting re-mastered prints, cleaned up soundtracks; etc.)

The Montgomery area just got ME-TV.

It can been seen on WAKA channel 8.2.

So excited over it.

Look forward to watching the programs.

Especially the westerns.

Me TV has Fox owned shows (Including MASH) except for WKRP, which is on Antenna TV. Is there some kind of difference there?

Don't know...but I did notice the Fox logo at the end of some of the "WKRP" episodes airing on Antenna TV, so apparently Fox is distributing it.

At least my favorite part of the Me-TV schedule is remaining the same: The block of there cool mid-to-late 1960's TV series on Saturday nights (two episodes of "Batman" from 7 to 8 ET; "Lost In Space" from 8 to 9 ET; and the original "Star Trek" from 9 to 10 ET).

I've come to like some of the westerns. The Big Valley is a show I never watched and now it is a regular for me.

I would like to know if you like Daniel Boone. I have tried to watch it many times. There is not much I like on in my area on at 9AM. I have asked fellow me tv fans if they like the program. They say no they don't care for it.

I would like hear your views on this show. Do you like it?
I'm not judging we all have our tastes, I am curious as to what the draw to this show is.

yes, their sci-fi Saturday nite is pretty terrific. And I'm a big Svengoolie fan too.

But I was just looking at the holiday schedule and apparently they're not running "Mr Magoo's Christmas Carol" this year :'( (It's my all-time fave)

Addendum: apparently NBC has snatched up Mr Magoo and will show it this Saturday nite! Which will be its first network airing in decades.

Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol is on Netflix online if you miss it on regular TV.

Man, NBC did quite an edit job tonite. I expected the opening number to be gone (it usually is in edited versions) but the entire "B'way show" framing device was excised and several songs were cut in half. The show ended with Tiny Tim saying "Gawd Bless us, every one" and there was no encore of "Lord's Bright Blessing", the big finale. Skillfully done (it wasn't in any way choppy) but jeez. Guess I'll have to buy the DVD.

They have plenty of shows, the problem is they keep showing the same ones in primetime.

Well, that's clearly becuase the shows constantly do well for the affilates and the viewers want to keep seeing them.

If the shows were not doing well, they wouldn't keep them on.

What surprises me is there's one "Evergreen" classic show they haven't been able to get THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW! It's the one major CBS-Viacom classic show that hadn't aired yet. I'm guessing there are too many local markets still running the series.

FOX now owns the MTM Library. There's a chance that MeTV passed on the series due to the music having been replaced.

Warner must not be interested in making its library available to any of these networks.

Warner has a strong TV library, not as strong as CBS (I strongly prefer to name it Paramount TV), but their library is more recent.  Warner has done TV, but I think they started to be more successful in the late 1970s with Alice and The Dukes of Hazzard.  Plus, they brought Lorimar TV (Dallas, The Waltons, Knots Landing) in around 1990.  I think MeTV could air shows like Night Court, Mama's Family, Growing Pains, Full House and Family Matters if they wanted to.  All these shows are from the Warner family.  Don't forget Friends as well.

The only problem is that most of their shows are aired on cable now, especially on TBS, Nick at Nite and TV Land.  However, Alice, Mama's Family, Growing Pains and one of my favorite shows, Night Court should be available for MeTV or other networks to air.

Bewitched airs on Logo now

I watched "Bewitched" on Logo. There were ads for RuPaul drag race show and a few other shows like that, let's say non family oriented stuff. I think the idea was "Bewitched" was a cult favorite and gay men like it, so it goes on Logo.

"Bewitched" was passed by during syndication by independent broadcast stations, that leaned Christian. One of them being WFMZ 69, who now carries Me-TV on the subchannel, and Me is picking up the show.

Why would gay men like it, other than the fact Darrin No. 2 eventually came out? Oh, wait, Uncle Arthur too.

I'm surprised a Christian station would run it. Aside from the witchcraft, the show was also anti-religion. Samantha refused to listen to any Christian messages, although in general she seemed to have Christian values.

WFMZ will only be running it via Me-TV airing it. I never understood how Judge Judy and the other stuff it acquired later, passed the Christian test but that's another case. Anyways, the channel has leaned more secular now, where I think 15 years ago, it's Saturday and Sunday lineup resembled TBN more than an indy station. Now, it looks more like an indy station with infomercials, though the Sunday lineup has a good dose of religious programming still including it in primetime. The station ownership has stayed the same.
