I see something is coming back to 104.9 The Beat Monday. Could that possibly be Russ Parr? I know alot of people wasn't too happy about his show being replaced.
 
And, whats going on at 99.1?

Also,
It's either 99.1 or 98.9 or somewhere about, but I'm hearing another station now, pretty strong. The past few days they were playing some kind of Spanish format, but this morning it was dead air. Anyone else hearing this? Is it a Pirate?

Well, they certainly weren't too thrilled with him when he was there either - he had the lowest rated daypart on the station - by far.

But his show is free (it's paid for with commercials) where The Playhouse is a cash show, so it wouldn't surprise me.

If I were about to get slaughtered, I'd want to cut expenses too.

I think it is a pirate... it's that spanish-religous simulcast from 98.5 in Lamesa (Los Ybanez)... I think they just moved the pirate from 91.9 to 98.5 in Lubbock.

I bet Clear-channel will have something to say about it, it's dangerously close to 98.1!

ive been in Los Angeles all week but when i got back i noticed 91.9 was slient but 98.5 was coming in a lot stronger than usual.
