Media Coverage Of The New Jersey/Brooklyn Corruption Scandal

I would like to read your thought on how the media is coverage the corruption bombshell hitting NJ politicians but also religious figures in Brooklyn. While the Madoff scandal was a big deal, it was more of a national scandal having tentacles that went through different places. This story is much more local but also has much bigger implications than your average gun-battle/cop-shot stories, as it has drama at both sides of the Hudson River. It is also not nearly over, if we are to believe the Feds. Oh, and there is a gubernatorial election for the state of New Jersey this year. I think this would be the very first big local story since the latest cutbacks at the local stations. It's going to be interesting how this is being covered as the story unfolds.

Between Fox 5 and PIX 11, I thought it was a toss-up. Fox 5 has more resources to do the job, since PIX 11 is constrained a bit by the Tribune bankruptcy, but PIX 11 did a good job, considering.

Between CBS 2, NBC 4, ABC 7 and My 9 I can't say because I was watching a soccer match that went well into extra time and penalty kicks.
