Media Ownership Rules

Just read Media Ownership Rules being reviewed again by the Court of Appeals. Decision in a couple months.

What would be better for Radio? What would be better for the economy? ???

Walk back the cat? Put the toothpaste back in the tube?
Probably not... You can expect whatever rules remain to go away.
Local ownership limited to one or two stations would be best for the economy. Best for radio? For the big chains to be forced to SELL their stations, rather than hand them over to Wall Street financiers to play Monopoly with.

Very well put and so very true!

As I recall, the rule being considered by the court was the FCC's attempt to allow broadcast/newspaper crossownership under certain circumstances. So regardless of how the court rules, it won't impact radio ownership limits at all.

What's a Newspaper...???

Oh yeah, the paper version of yesterdays TV/Radio/Internet news. I think I saw one once at my grandpa's house.
