I checked out MediaBase POP chart today. Cascada is up to Number 69, and gaining. Also, DHT may have another shot with (Someone), its up to 102, up 14 from last week, so DHT is almost about to crack the Top 100 on Mediabase, yet again. How high will either song chart,,,Well I guess we will have to wait and find out.

D.H.T. wont make it. If it's only up 14 spins that means it's stalling out and is pretty much finished. On the other hand, Cascada is up 180 spins, that's still got some steam to it! I'm trying to push WXSS to give it a shot.<P ID="signature">______________

Gorillaz "Dare" also seems to be picking up some steam, sort of. While maybe its not pure dance, it is techno sounding. Would be great for this one to make it too.

Ahh, i stand corrected. Although at the time of this post it doesn't look all that great for D.H.T. as it is #112 on the pop chart with only a slight gain of 26 spins. Unfortunately, I believe it's pretty much done. On the rhythmic side it's the same story: #73 only up 32 spins from last week.

Maybe, maybe not - I thought the same thing of "Feel Good Inc", which turned out to be quite a respectable hit for CHR overall.

FWIW, the video for "Dare" seems to be quite popular over on MTV2...

Ive been checking out MTV once in a while too, just to see if they actually play any of these Dance Videos. I havent seen Any Dance videos on MTV yet, But I have several MTV Channels, I have Regular MTV, MTV 2, and I also have MTV Hits, which is all Top 40/CHR videos, and ive seen O% Dance on any channel. I also have MTV SPANISH HITS, and MTV JAMS, but they deffinatly arent playing Dance. So like CHRLES said, What time of day is a good time to catch them, and which MTV Channel plays them.

They said it was supposed to have the 80s electronic club sound. The alternative stations here are playing the rock mix. The rock mix is the same thing except it has more guitar in it.<P ID="signature">______________

The original version of Dare, is definatly a Dance Track in my opinion. I havent heard this ROCK MIX, but the original version that the European stations play, is definatly Dance, And in fact it really bothers me, when someone says this track isnt Dance, because it is from a Rock Group, and not released on a Dance Label. Im not into this Pigeon hole deal,, IF IT SOUNDS LIKE DANCE,,,,IT MUST BE DANCE...
 
If you dig Dare then check out The Lovemakers. Great tracks on the CD including Shake Your Ass

Who did you sign up with to get MTV hits, and MTV Spanish hits? Don't you also have MuchMusic, and Mun2?
