Or does that mean there is a possible 8 million viewer show CBS has on mind for Friday nights in Medium's place? (or perhaps a 7 million viewer show that costs less to produce...?)

To be honest I don't have an answer to your question. What I surmised from Arquette's (sp) comment is that after two more episodes, the show is gone...period.

I AM SOOOOO Confused now! Medium aired on Friday December 3, 2010 instead of another CSI NY

See now, I get it when ABC cancels the whole truth. That program only maintained 3.65 million viewers, but Medium had 7.1 MILLION viewers!!!!

Then they shouldh't have bothered picking up the show in the first place.
Did they "sure show" NBC? Or was it something that was just a waste of time?
What were the ratings when NBC pulled the plug on the show?
So many questions...
(and I would have kept Medium running at least until next April...)
