Mega 107.5 (KXMG) On-Air in the NOLA Area?

Maybe it's just me, but has Mega finally moved to the NOLA transmitter? I hit scan on the radio dial yesterday afternoon and my radio stopped at 107.5. Driving around, the signal was super clear.

So is the transmitter where they said it would be (on 106.7's tower)?

No, not yet, and according to them it will be sometime early next year before they commence operation from there. They're currently operating under an STA (granted last month) from the WVUE tower in Chalmette.

Tropo is bouncing the wrong stations around for the last couple of weeks. You may expect to hear a station located 50 miles to the west but instead you get one 150 miles to the east...

Why am I wasting my time with an explanation? You already know this.

I know they are definitely not on the main transmitter in Houma anymore as I can't get a good signal and even on a 5kw signal they should be gang busters in the area.. my guess is like others have said, it has moved to Chalmette on the temporary STA till they build out after hurricane season
and Poledo, normally you would be right but jd is correct as this was information I posted a few weeks ago about a sta to chalmette on the WVUE tower .
