Power 1051 also is doing great, they are #2 in all the key demos.
Both stations are what we have in 2016 as example of zoning in on what your listeners want and delivering for them. I don't have the morning #s but I imagine that Elvis Duran is doing this also.
Of note is the 20 year b-day of KTU-v2.0. When that station flipped they really knew exactly what the market was itching for and they delivered it flawlessly for that first year or so. That was the last time, sans the fan and the news channels, that you could listen to a station for 10 minutes and immediately know that this is a New York radio station. The so called ktu clones done in other markets over the next few years were a funny listen, similar to watching those most funny home videos shows.
