Mega HD-2 now broadcasting on 102.7 FM Translator in Austin

Also broadcasting on 105.5FM in a town 30 miles east of Austin. This is huge!

How much of the Austin population is actually able to hear it broadcast on 105.5? Isn't there another station broadcasting on 105.5 from Harker Heights that can be heard in Austin?

Yeah, the top of the hour ID is pretty entertaining. Sounds like they are cramming three IDs in there.

Station sounds pretty good, but some of the remixes are questionable. It's nice to hear DJs on a dance station. I still think I'll be listening to The Vibe, though. Their sound quality is better and it doesn't seem to buffer as much.

I love our U.S stations But ill stick to slam fm,

Chirp, chirp...

The station is on 2 different translators. I can't speak for the 105.5 one in the suburbs, but the new one at 1027 in Austin comes in okay on my portable at the house. I am about 15 miles line of sight from the transmitter so I assume they have a good part of the metro covered. Sounds good to me, but I listened to it before on HD and I thought it was good then.

For the love of God, the initial post said the station is broadcasting in Austin on 102.7, which it is. I simply followed up that it is ALSO being relayed on an out-of-town stick at 105.5FM. This is great news as Austin now has a Pure Dance station on FM.

Calm down...I will simply asking a question regarding 105.5. ::)

And.... the fun is over.
Mega 103.5 HD2 / Megahd2.com Some sad news Mega fans - our deal to remain on FM has fallen through, so we will be leaving 102.7 in the next day or so. But Mega is not going away! Your response to us has been AMAZING and we ask for your continued support through our stream and on HD radio. Please help us spread the word that Mega LIVES at 103.5HD2 and at www.megahd2.com

That's a shame. Austin gets something good on the radio but then it's gone the next day...
