Mega Move

While everyone was focused on 101.5, KAJM quietly moved their signal to Towers Mountain. Their signal should be better in the west valley, making 99.3 redundant.

Right now, they're experiencing some "moving pains." The audio sounds awful at this time. Most likely an STL glitch.

That's makes three signals that have left the Verde Valley in the last two years, 96.7 From Flagstaff, 98.3 from Mingus Mountain and now 104.3 from Payson - just checked on my Bose here in Jerome and no signal on 104.3.

We especially appreciate the addition of a translator on 93.3 eliminating KDKB and replacing it with "Sunny 100' (which used to be Sunny 97 [96.7]) which already comes in on the kitchen sink.

Wonder who's next to go?

Well, that's what you expect from Bose. :p :p :p :p :p :p :p

Mega must have fined tuned itself in the move, because its coming in better and sounds better- even in the East Valley. Finally can listen to old school without a coat hanger and pie tin!! :D

It's been a week since the move, and they still sound like they're feeding the new transmitter with streaming Internet audio at 32k. I personally can't take it for an extended period of time. 99.3 must be taking 104.3's over-the-air signal because they sound just the same. They're still owned by the Brentlingers, a family whose members are involved in the business of engineering and audio processing, so I'm surprised they haven't gotten to the problem as of yet.
