KDM,, Especially you will like this station. I mean, Im gonna have to start paying people to listen, but the station sounds great, Ive got the Audio Chain set to perfection, and its a 24/7 mix channel, KDM,, You have always been posting about asking for mixshow intensive Rhythmic Stations.. Well here is one.. ;) Submit me some Mixes KDM and make suggestions..... YOU too D21..and Tony Santiago,, all of you that arent busy with your own stations.
 
No prob the aac plus stream will work with itunes and Winamp and Real, And Shoutcast even has a built in player in their new YP, so it works without even having to DL anything.. I think I have the audio chain processing set just right.
 
Sounds great so far! If you don't like the long links, go to MySpace, then post a status update with the link in it. When the status update is posted onto MySpace, the link in the posted update will become much shorter and you can just copy the link from there to use.
 
I must say that this is the only station on the net with this style of format. It's the format sound style I like most. Different beat patterns and styles being used while still being more on the dance side and not straight up chr pop hits.
 
Stay tuned though cause an electro hip hop set is coming up in about 8 mins.
 
yes it is.. sometimes my comcast drops out for a sec, and then comes back in a few minutes,, it takes 20 mins to get relisted.
 
BTW, its in mp3 mode now, cause people on facebook that didnt have itunes or winamp couldnt listen.
 
This is like the fastest growing dance station on Shoutcast.. I had 11 listeners earlier and can only hold 15,, thnks guys,, I need to buy more bandwidth now..But thats good... >>>>(HEY EARL) I think were gonna need a bigger boat. :D
 
I see their IP adresses and my listener count, but wavestreamer doesnt tell what player they are using.. I liked Centova Cast better, it was the best control panel. Anyway Im getting ready to send you a PM.. Actually i can just tell you on here so maybe someone can help me fix this if I can. When I replied to your mixes to tell you thank you on Part one, I lost all the mixes on part 1 and dont know how to get them back, Ive still got part 2. If I cant get them back somehow, you can re add them at your convenience. It was my screw up, so if you want to wait till next week or so when you add more, then thats fine, just whenever you get around to it, I want to somehow get part one back. I dont know exactly what you have to do to upload those to me, or if you have to go to a mobil wifi hotspot, so from now on I will know not to reply on Gmail until I have already added the mixes.. Also, their is no mazimum or minimum of mixes to add, You can send me 50 mixes one week if your up to it, or one mix, or if you just dont have time to do mixes one week, its okay to wait a few weeks or so to add more.. Im very flexible and I know we all have a life outside of DJing, so its just fine.. Im sorry I lost part 1,,, so just whenever you get around to it is fine,, like I said, i didnt know replying would make me lose the file,, Maybe it's still somewhere in the system.. If any of you can help me recover it id appreciate it. One more thing, in order to add mixes I have to sign off for a few minutes to add them, I didnt used to, but now winamp is making me add them seperately in another file, cause it will just add the mixes to Winamp and then it deletes my other mixes out of Winamp.. I rarely have 0 listeners, but if I stay up late enough I usually might drop to 0 at some point in overnights between 3 and 6 AM.. Im gonna have to buy more bandwidth soon,, When I used other servers I couldnt ever seem to get just a few sporatic listeners 1 2 or maybe 3 tops. But thank you so much for your time K, and Im sorry I screwed up and lost part 1, there is still alot of Work to do to get the station sounding just the way I want it, and only you K, know this sound im going for, and you play this still unnamed Genre.

As far as the no name stuff, the house songs (with house beats) have a known genre. It's only the new mainstream (or non mainstream) stuff resembling modern booty bass or freestyle that have no name. I'll call Lady Gaga "pop", but if I do an entire set that's all strictly similar to the beat styles of "in the ayer" by Flo Rida or "right now na na na" by Akon, I don't want to call that one particular sound with those type of beats pop - IF I am only doing that one specific type of sound to make people think other things. I wouldn't call it a pop mix if many or all the songs are similar to "Like a G6" by Fareast Movement because that is only one specific sound which should have a name just like every type of house music has it's own name. "Breakbeat" is too strong of a label for that sound. Akon "sexy chick" is mainstream but is still part of house. This means mainstream songs with uptempo broken beats (like some of Jay Sean's hits) should have its own name as well.
 
Later I will create a link to promote the station on my site. As of right now I don't have my own computer (or my own computer with Windows on it - needs a reboot of XP) so I'm sharing this computer with other folks in my family (who also have their own laptops). Don't ask..

While at work I experienced some problems with the stream while on Megamix 96. I thought it might have been Shoutcast so I decided to listen to another station on there. No problems whatsoever. Were you experiencing issues earlier in the afternoon?
