OK, that explains it. Maybe they are clearing him out of ABQ before they flip Mega to something that can gnerate ratings and revenue.

Since I am the overall program supervisor for this one, and have been since we invented the recuerdo format in 1999, it is really hared to be either modest or impartial about this.

In San Antonio, a similarly assimilated market, Recuerdo on a lesser signal became #1 Spanish in its first extrapolated month, January, where it went on the air 10 days into the Winter Phase I. In fact, it was top 5 25-54 for the month in the entire market.

In the last half of January, KOVE in Houston, launced 12/25/05, was #1 Spanish in the PPM. McAllen, in 7 weeks, got to market leading #1 25-54 total market. And similar things have happened in Phoenix (#5 general market) and San Diego and Fresno and elsewhere. There are now 12 Recuerdo markets.

It´s viable in ABQ and probably will be the #1 Spanish station.
