Melissa Carter leaving Q100's Bert Show

This is the best thing to happen to the Bert Show in years! She's leaving because Cumulus lowered her salary in the contract renewal and she wouldn't agree. In order to collect 6 months severance, in the non-compete clause, she's agreed to say nothing more than what she has about leaving the job. She's going to wake up in six months and realize her ego is bigger that anyone is willing to pay for in radio. Good luck in your search for the next thing.

Amen to that brother!

Just talking today about how Cox is making Kelly work mornings on B98 and voice trac afternoons on The River cause they don't have/want the money to pay another person to do PMD on the River. That's how radio is these days... paying a 3rd/4th mic big money is DONE.

She is a typical Atlanta lesbian, bitter and mean.

You either loathe the company you work around, or the company you work for, or both.

There's more money out there for the right person if they're willing to relocate or find the next big thing. Melissa has that quality and skill, and she will be much happier in the long run, if she's not working for Cumulus. Most of those that used to, are much better off. Though you gay bashers with the same old jokes from the 80's might think otherwise. At this point it's too late to expect you to relate to reality in 2011, even in Atlanta I guess.

Many people expect loyalty to have rewards or loyalty in return, but that just isn't worth the effort anymore.... It certainly isn't worth the pay!
