Memo to CBS FM

Hey, it can't be any worse than stations going all-Christmas on, say, November 1?

The syndicated country music program "Moby in the Morning" started playing the favorite "I'm a WereCow" earlier this week.

Sorry...but the case could be made to play it any time in October. It's a novelty record, and October is typically associated with Halloween. Spiking it in here and there shouldn't be an issue...

For crying out loud, you've got stations going to all Christmas music around November 1st these days. "Monster Mash" in October hardly seems out of line.

Actually when the song was re-released and recharted in 1973. It was May. So go figure.

Eww. I rather have cheesy Halloween music over Christmas junk anyday
