What are some campaigns that stood out and made an impression, good or bad? I'll start.
Jammin' 92.3 - The one with "Jammin'" on the side and the big "92.3" in the blue box and both in neon yellow and a black background. Another had the 1994-99 logo tilted toward the ground with the dancing guy from the TV commercials on top.
WZAK - An unforgettable one with Lynn Tolliver, Kym Sellers and Ralph Poole. Tolliver and Poole were both naked with the 'ZAK logo covering Tolliver and a pink rectangle with "MORNINGS" in yellow covering Poole. Only Sellers was clothed with her hand on her forehead and eyes looking up.
WNCX - The flaming guitar in a white background with the logo on the lower right. Another was at Tower City with Ruby Cheeks, Michael Stanley and Bill Louis each holding smoking guitars. This was around 1993 I think.
WMMS - The color billboards along I-71 and I-77 near Downtown Cleveland featuring different artists played on the station during the early 90's. Another had "You Don't Know Dick," which promoted short-lived morning host Dick Dale.
WDOK - There were ones with a bear at the upper left or right corner and the station logo in the mid-1990's. I also remember around the same period ones promoting Trapper Jack, but with a cryptic campaign saying "he's back." It might have confused people, but it worked.
Q104 - A bus billboard with a black background and the logo and slogan "the station that picks you up and keeps you going" in green. Another was a main one with a walkman set to 104.1 with headphones attached, the 90's logo and "The Best Variety of the 80's and 90's" in a white background.
WLTF - The ones with the 1984 to '95 "Lite Rock 106 1/2" logo a comic book drawing of Trapper Jack stick out. Also, a bus billboard with three different Trappers with different hairstyles each representing the 70's, 80's and 90's.
WTAM - One with gunshots in the background, and another with the city skyline using the slogan "Cleveland's Only News Radio."
I can't believe I can recall them at the top of my head.
