This weekend, Georgia radio nostalgia buffs will be treated to great new exhibits at the Georgia Radio Hall Of Fame web site. Vintage WAKE PAMS jingles, air checks of WLTA, WDOL, and WRFC, lots of new pictures of Georgia stations will be available for the first time, as well as the debut of video memorabilia. On March 5, 1986, Power 99 made it's debut on Atlanta radio. The Georgia Radio Hall Of Fame has exclusively obtained, never before seen, behind the scenes video of the event starring the late Bill Phippen, General Manager of the station at that time, Program Director Steve Davis, and young Vicki Locke. Great site but I have a problem with the audio portion of the site with the airchecks. I tried to listen to the John Leader aircheck from WQXI but it has an annoying disclaimer through out, "grhof.com" It is so irritating and uncalled for I clicked it off. Try listening when John Leader is talking and this voice interrupting with "grhof.com". It breaks the flow and continuity of the entire aircheck. :mad:
