Memorial Day Weekend Themes

I only have heard a few, but here's what I have caught:

WNCX: Double Shot Weekend

WMJI: Yacht Rock Weekend with the playlist matching with the iHeart Yacht Rock national channel

1065 The Lake: Yet another 80s weekend on 106.5, a tradition going back now almost 30 years. I know in recent years they've done 90s weekends on The Lake when WMJI has done 80s weekends (and I believe at one point there was a holiday weekend both of them did an 80s weekend, but with different logs)

98.1 WKDD: 90s weekend with the playlist matching the iHeart90s channel

WONE: Memorial Day 500

Mix 94.1 Canton: Mixtape 90s/2000s

106.5 has been doing 80s weekends since 1996 when it still WLTF, but rebranded as "The New Lite Rock 106.5." Back then, it was called the "80s Superstar Weekends." Then it became the "Totally 80s Weekend" when it was WMVX.

Q104 was also doing a Throwback weekend with 90s and 2000s songs. WZAK and Z107.9 were both likely doing mix segments all weekend.

107.3 ALT CLE did throwbacks all-day on Monday.

WDOK just stuck with regular programming with Memorial Day sweepers.

The Summit FM had a couple of nice tributes to Bon Dylan for his 85th birthday. One was hosted by Patti Smith, and aired that Saturday and memorial day. Dave Swanson also did a special 2 hour Revolt into Style which also honored Bob Dylan.
