Memorial Dinner for James E Boyd, Jr (Bwana Jimmy)
Sorry for delays in getting this announcement to all of you.
We are planning for a get together in Meridian, Mississippi the Saturday immediately after Thanksgiving Day.
This will be SATURDAY, Nov 24th – 5pm until around 8-9pm or so
We will hold the gathering at the “Crescent City Grill”, located 519 Azalea Drive in Meridian .

Please RSVP to us via email before Thanksgiving, so we can give the restaurant an accurate count of how many will attend.

We have reserved a fairly large meeting room at the restaurant that holds about 60 people and opens onto a deck.
There is another adjacent room available (non-connecting), that could hold another 40 people, if necessary.
This will be a “No Host” Dinner.
We plan to meet at around 5pm on Saturday Nov 24th and be seated to order dinner at around 6pm.
The dinner will cost $21 per person.
There will be three dinner choices:
1) Chicken Stir Fry (w/ dinner salad, beverage, and blackberry cobbler)
2) Crab Cakes w/ Pontchartrain topping & vegetables (w/ salad, bev. & dessert)
3) 12oz Prime Rib au jus w/ garlic mashed potato (w/ salad, bev. & dessert)
We will have a small podium set up, and we invite anyone who would like to speak to please take the microphone and relate any thoughts, stories, camaraderie, etc., regarding the late great Jimmy Boyd .
