memphis 1027 to new orleans 995

ok i am listning to rock 103 right now. i have heard steve earle copperhead road in the past hour. along with a lot of stuff that i usually dont here down here. november rain by gnr is on now. so if clear channel owns rock 103 and q1043 in new york which also has a somewhat larger playlist than most stations. than why the hell does wrno, also clear channel owned, play the same crap over and over again? rno plays 100-200 songs to death! and with bayou on now that has got to be hurting them. what gives? why are we stuck with bland repeat radio and markets like memphis are finally seeing the light and expanding the playlist? 98.1 memphis also plays stuff not on down here.
______________
note to the NAB..satellite radio..its worth paying for!!

As much as I liked Bayou from the beginning, it is getting stale.

Very much so, but the PD thinks otherwise. Been there, done that. That Kaplain fellow doesn't care!!! Ted Striker who USED to work at HOT 104 in Mobile, AL needs to come to this city and PD some stations. I know, I know... he's an out-of-towner and I really don't like them programming OUR stations, but he is good enough to be given a chance at that duty. He's VERY agressive with imaging, processing, etc. That makes a winning station IMO.
