Just out of curiosity, how many of you have HD radios either in your home or in your car? I just put one in my car today, and I was looking at some of the HD2 offerings.
97.1's HD2 channel plays more old-school hip-hop.
101.1's HD2 is Air 1 (Christian CHR, which is also on 96.7).
102.7's HD2 is actually a simulcast of News Radio WREC-AM 600.
What's shocking to me, especially in K97 and Rock 103's case (and you can include WREC in this), is that they don't even make a MENTION of these HD2 channels anywhere on their websites. Could you imagine what would happen if WREC told people they could now be heard on HD-FM radio? Do you think this would at least increase sales of HD radios in Memphis?
