Mercury Perceptual Study on HDRadio

This is a 45-minute presentation, but it busts up a lot of the myths surrounding how people use radio, whether it fulfills their needs as a listener, and whether or not HDRadio will make any difference:

One particularly pertinent conclusion from this study: HDRadio is in serious trouble. Most people will not take one even if you give it away for free.

(The company which did this study, and presented the results at the recent NAB convention, does this sort of thing for the radio industry as its full-time activity.)

Most people are not as dumb or gullible as the HD cartel would like to believe.
