The name Kardashian is so feared in Florida that a “Good Day Orlando” anchor walked off set to protest the show’s coverage of the famous family.

“I am having a good Friday, so I refuse to talk about the Kardashians today. You are on your own, Amy,” FOX 35 news anchor John Brown said on the air last week. “I’ve had enough Kardashians. I can’t take anymore Kardashian stories on this show.”

What would he have been forced to blabber on about had he stayed on camera?

The article I read on this event said the anchor was tired of the continuing coverage of the Krapiashian family. That is quite different than a "mere mention".
 
I'm sorry. What was I thinking? I meant to say the Kardouchian family. There. Got it right this time.

It is this kind of programming and media coverage that makes both industries irrelevant.
