Meridian Ratings.Who is #1?

I heard Scotty Ray and Debbie barking this morning about their morning show being #1 according to Arbitron.Someone please tell me the truth,what are the real ratings saying?
 
okk has higher 12 plus numbers.have not seen breakdown.jdq was in the crapper...worst showing ever 12 plus
 
My peeps say it aint so.......persons 25-54, it's OKK. I'm sure there's some strange blip on the radar where they shine........like 14-27 yr.old red-headed stepchildren with freckles. SR & D monitor this board, as I recall a nasty little scrap-fest they aired a while back on this board......SO, what demo did you win?
 
i think debbie said they were number one in 3 legged latin lesbian midgets.. (ha)What about JDQ?did any CHR listener get a diary?GO URBAN.
 
I'm no longer privy to the numbers so I can't give any insight. However, I will say this: I was disappointed with JDQ's 12+. It was... shocking. However, I will say this: I believe they are finally starting to feel the effects of the frequency flip. It's almost like 95.1 is cursed; no station on that frequency has really ever done anything mind blowing.

There are some other possibilities but I won't get into those for some obvous and not so obvious reasons. I will say that I hope URB gives it another shot. It would be a shame to take almost 30 years of heretage and flush it down the loo.

Radio is being killed within..... with lawyers, investors, regional muckity-mucks that travel to markets. Holiday is in the perfect position,and guess what ,they know it.Even in most markets that urban has good numbers,they can't sell it.They rely on agency business.can't keep sales people or market managers.Read the first line again,i think you'll get the idea where consolidation has gone and what it has done to radio.
 
It's me again! I was driving to the mall last night and heard Rob Allen thanking all the okk listeners for making them #1! To be honest, I have been listening to the okk am show and I have to admit I was a little hard on them to begin with,You can check my earlier postings, but they sound pretty good now.Their upbeat,they have something going on everyday to make you laugh, even their daily show commercials are fun to listen to.I would not be surprised if they are the real #1 local morning show in Meridian,after all,there is more to a morning show than just live commercials and birthdays and anniversaries.Maybe the luster is starting to dull on SR&D at miss 101.Just my opinion.
