Former WEEP newsman and WJAS talk show host Merle Pollis is dead at the age of 69 from respiratory failure. After leaving Pittsburgh in 1973, he was fixture in Cleveland radio and politics for 35 years at talk stations WERE, WJW, WHK, and WELW.
