Merry Christmas, you're fired

Maybe we should let anyone who was left go post it themselves if they desire for everyone to know. Some people might not appreciate having their misfortunes posted for everyone to see. At least that is how I would wish to be treated.

Mock3, your sentiments are understandable. But getting fired by this bunch should be considered a liberation, a rite of passage.
Pity the worker bees who cling to their chains.

I Know, It's been awhile since posted here. With that out of the way Happy New Year. Thank God I got out of radio sales. Where the goals are to high and the Pay is too low. I Feel for those who got let go Grinchette this year but believe me your better off.

Yeah, well dig this. I know of a longtime central PA broadcaster who fired his own son who was managing his station. He fired him on Christmas eve afternoon! I know of another central PA broadcaster who fired one of his AM announcers on Christmas eve day when his AM went automated and the FM was the rising star...or so he thought at the time. I also remember our program director, having consumed too much John Barley Corn, one Christmas Eve, remarking that our FM automation equipment (reel to reel machines) looked like giant panda bears standing there. I'm not naming names because I am the "fried man" and all of these guys are still around. This is one cruel business and as the late W.C. Fields said, "never give a sucker an even break". Where is the "30 Hours of Christmas" when we need it?

You HAD to have worked at WPRR from the way it sounds about the panda bears.
