Inside sources at the Clear Channel building in Miramar inform us that this years holiday party will be held in the afternoon at Don Carter Bowl. Not to dis the bowling alley in any way, it is just shameful how in just a decade the holiday parties have diminshed from those great bashes at the Signature Grand to a bowling alley. Even James Crystal is havinmg a party at the Hard Rock Cafe. First it was the holiday bonus that went buh bye. Now it seems, the company holiday party is riding off into the sunset.

Unfortunately, so is the rest of the radio biz. I strongly suggest EVERYBODY leave radio at the same time. Then, management will have to run the damn stations themselves and they may find out just how challenging it is to be creative day in and day out. Besides, if you leave radio, you can always go into Real Estate, right?
