Merry Whatever?

Kwanzaa is a made up holiday.

The Arab celebration has ended.

And Jewish people are uncomfortable being excluded from Christmas. Even though their religion may not celebrate it, they recognize it as one of America's blessed traditions and most of them are offended when we DON'T offer them a Merry Christmas. It's as if we don't like them or something. They shouldn't have to think that at all...so this being said, I don't want ANYONE to feel left out in the cold...so let me wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS.

I am a Jew who believes in Jesus. I wish everyone Merry Christmas. Sometimes when I wish Jewish friends Merry Christmas, they say to me Happy Holiday. Some of my friends are not comfortable with Christmas greetings.

I am not comfortable with a generic holiday greeting.

So Merry Christmas. That IS THE holiday.

Yes, "Merry Whatever." As in "Merry Whatever-You-Celebrate." I meant it and I still mean it!
