Is there some requirement that people know who you are??ThomasCarten said:I was in the WB Post Office and a little old nun was behind me; didn't know who I was.
To wish someone a Happy Chanakah without ever feeling the the spirit of that holiday seems insincere to me.
As the building emptied out (we have 900 employees there) more than 95% wished me Merry Christmas.

Then I said, "And there are several holidays at this time of year, so Happy Holidays as well." Her smile tightened and she said, "M-e-r-r-y C-h-r-i-s-t-m-a-s" I said, "There's also Hanukkah, which came even before Christmas, and the Catholic New Year, which was the First Sunday of Advent." Then I got The Glare. "Forget Kwanzaa," I said to myself.
