Merry Christmas

Ya know back when I worked for the mighty K I enjoyed it for the first week or so. After all imagine a geezer like me being able to play Andy Williams on the radio! By December 15th I was ready to kill a reindeer!

Doing 6 hours of that a day I sure hope they let you VT some of it.
 
How is it possible that these 2 stations will play Carpenters,Andy Williams and Barry Manillow during christmas time, but not when they are playing AC music? Is it because they are not considered Kool or Lite artists? I know complaining about it won't change it, since big corporations run these lousy stations anyways.

I was thinking the same thing but I wasn't going to go there. Since you did let me say that some of the greatest love songs ever recorded will never be aired on the love song shows, only because they are too old.

The old Christmas songs are so much better than most of the ones that have come out in the past 20 years.

As I tell my kids, there is a lot more music than just what you hear on the radio.

Yeah, I get to hear this music year-round. It just has different lyrics.

Well, because the rain will arrive sooner than expected, and I was feeling too lousy to drive to the mall today, I'll be stuck walking in the mall tomorrow and, unless something changed since last time, they'll have K-104.7 with their Christmas music. I don't mind good Christmas music, but AC stations play too much junk. Even my station does, but less.
