Merry Christmas!

A big Christmas toast to everyone on the Seattle/Tacoma board!

Cheers!

you too. Looking forward to a great New Year and more discussions.
Thank you.

I've been listening to "The 36 Hours of Christmas" on KRWM all day. Great music-no commercials, and only ID sweepers and military greetings. Excellent!

I am listening to Warm right now. Anyone else think more stations should spread out the Christmas music? Here's a scan I conducted this morning,
92.5, regular music
92.9 probably regular programming, didn't get a chance to listen to this one much
93.3 regular programming
94.1 all Christmas
94.9 regular programming, I wouldn't expect them to go entirely Christmas
95.7 I don't think so, but they were doing Bob Rivers this morning most likely tracked and they were at commercial just now when I checked.
96.1 all Christmas, but they usually flip late.
96.5 regular programming
97.3 regular programming
98.1 regular programming
98.9 regular programming
99.9 most likely regular programming, had the regular morning show on this morning.
100.3 haven't been able to confirm whether they are fully Christmas, but a good amount of Christmas music on that station.
100.7 just confirmed all Christmas
101.5 regular programming with about 3 Christmas songs an hour.
102.5 regular programming.
102.9 regular programming not surprising
103.7 they're throwing in some Christmas tunes but not doing full-blown Christmas music.
104.1 I'm sure is all Christmas, but haven't gotten much time to listen.
104.5 regular programming though I have heard them throw in a Christmas song or two over the last week or so.
105.3 the usual 30 hours of Christmas.
106.1 regular programming.
106.5 all Christmas I'm sure, though the half-channel stations are hard to tune on an analogue radio.
106.9 as mentioned earlier 36 hours continuous Christmas music.
107.7 regular programming. Seems like if you want Christmas music on the day itself, you either have to tune to the country stations or the ones that have already been playing Christmas music for a month.

96.5 HD2 Boom FM has been playing all Christmas music the last few days. But I might be the only one listening.

Merry Christmas to everyone.

98.1 KING-FM was playing all Christmas music for several days - but it was classical and I think I even heard some renaissance music. Few of the same tunes as everyone else, and a lot more "international" traditional melodies, until midafternoon Tuesday, when I heard an extended medley of the familiar tunes that the other guys play, but on solo piano. I like that it gave KING-FM a chance to play some softer and more intimate music, solos and small ensembles, compared to the symphonies and orchestral bombast they otherwise seem to favor at all hours.
