Looks like 102.9 The Lake and K-104.7 started jingling the bells. The Lake went at 5, and K followed quickly at 6.
It reminds me of the old days when Lite 102.9 and K would play cat and mouse with the “Christmas Preview Weekends” and flip randomly in the middle of the week or just not ever flip back to regular music after a weekend.
Either way, I’m sure both will score solid ratings, and this may help LKO make some inroads on KQC, which they clearly lost over the course of the year.
