K.M. Richards
Program Director, The Eighties Channel™
Sometime after losing KHOF-TV (AprilMay 24, 1983), he ended up overnights (mostly) on KDOC (Ch 56).
And Sunday afternoons. All in the article.

I probably wrote this before on RD, but....I remember watching one of Wally's shows. Someone from the audience came up to the mike and started complaining about Gene Scott. Wally stopped the person, saying "Gene Scott is a friend of mine! Get off this stage!" I think I have that show on audiotape somewhere....I still wish Gene Scott and Wally George had guested on each other’s shows at KDOC…
I wonder what's going to happen to their Spanish-language Independent station when KWHY becomes Scientology Network?
Will their Spanish-language Independent station might move to KBEH since this station is still owned by Meruelo Media Group?
Any suggestions?
I can see it. Everything you listed is correct as of this moment including the simulcast, except 22-4 through 22-8 aren't there at all anymore (tuning any of them makes the TV snap to 22-1). There's also no 63-5 (snaps to 63-1), nor is there a 63-4. 63-1's channel name shows up in the EPG as "Univers" and there's a Spanish program airing right now co-branded with Radio Vision Latina FM 96.7 Los Angeles.I cannot receive KWHY/KBEH off-air as their choice of low-VHF channel 4 in the repack rendered them invisible to my TV, even after rescanning. But I note that 22.2 is a simulcast of 22.1 so that's something that won't have to move.
I know It's still showing it on the rabbitears.infoI can see it. Edit: Something on-screen on 63-1 just promoted universalchurchusa.org, which matches the "Univers" EPG thingy.
Their money's green. It's a crappy book.I can't believe that the man's selling the channel to a cult company called Scientology. I didn't like the book Dianetics.
I am waiting to see the statue holding the "cans" of a Scientology E-Meter.Scientology appears to be on a buying spree:

But just as qualified as the fisherman, tax collector and others of various vocations who wrote the New Testament. In spite of having "Church" in their name, L. Ron Hubbard started the movement out as primarily a pseudoscience group with his take on the human mind. He was also a science fiction writer. Not really in the same league as what would be defined as "Christian" owned media such as EMF, VCY and the rest.
