Looks like Kidd will not be returning to Kiss and it says they are willing to take their morning show to another station in the valley come January. I wonder where they would go. You can leave out all the clear channel stations here so where do you think they would or could go? I for one wish there was an FM talk station cause I think they would be a great fit for an FM talk station.

I was bored this afternoon so surfed to this sight saw this post and had to register to respond. YES--YES--YES FM Talk would be great and "I think" do very well here in the valley. The problem is finding a signal that covers the valley at a price that a profit can be made. There is a big void here in Phoenix for talk radio. NO one is on fire. No controversy. Mostly syndicated talk, does that mean that this valley has NO talented talk hosts? No one hungry like early years Tom Leikus, Jack Cole, Barry Young, Bob Mohan, Earl Baldwin, Micky Pador and the list could keep going. Where are the young REBELS. Can they not exist in today's corporate talk radio?

It's funny I remember calling Kidd from the conference room at America West Airlines while he was on the air to offer him mornings at Power 92. Also I remember a call from Jim Sharpe in 1999 to say he could do talk radio. Turned out pretty good for him, for along time. Where is the FM for sale, cheap?

Mike, I was with you until you mentioned Jack Cole and Mickey Padorr. Also, noone in that list is exactly young (nor were they when they worked at KFYI with the exception of maybe Leykis). But I get your point.

I'm sure the Brentlingers would sell you either of the Payson rim-shots for the right price, or Ted Tucker will cash in KCDX. Not sure if they'd be cheap, but they'd be cheaper than any of the class C sticks.<P ID="signature">______________
