Message to Fox Sports Radio

Get Scott Ferrall on your weekday lineup...shake some things up. I think the ideal scenario would be the long overdue firing of Van Earl Wright. Fox could then move JT The Brick to the West Coast morning slot to go up against the eventual Bruno syndication. JT would probably work better with Andrew as well and put Ferrall in JT's old slot.
So the lineup would be

6AM - 9AM PST The Fox Morning Extravaganza with JT The Brick
7PM - 11PM PST Gametime React with Scott Ferrall

A small move that would improve the network vastly

I like it!

Absolutely.

I like your ideas- though I personally would never listen to that morning show. Two hip-hop wannabes is not what I want to listen to.

What I would do is rid FOX of Andrew Sisliano once and for all. I think Van Earl Wright could actually be a decent meat and potatoes host but the two have no chemistry whatsoever.

I've said this before, I think Van Earl Wright has a heartland appeal and the fact that he is to the left politically can stir some healthy debate in those red states. He knows college football. He knows NASCAR. A solo mid-day gig and I think he'd be successful.

Sis's appeal is, as best as I can tell, Eminem wannabes, Science Fiction fans, and Waylon Smithers wannabes.

Without Sis, there might be enough money to bring Bruno back for the monring show.

Bruno in the morning? Ferrall back from 10-2 at night nationally? OH- BE STILL MY BEATING HEART!

SPORTS TALK WOULD BE BACK!

Re: I like it!

Pratte, I agree completely with your sentiments...

The main problem with the FSR morning show is 'bitterman' Siciliano. VEW is serviceable and in fact does speak to the nation's heartland (college sports and NASCAR). So does Scott Farrell. Farrell would be a nice addition virtually anywhere on the FOX lineup. To be honest, Ben Maller is not used properly, either (i.e. not enough)...while JTBrick and David what's-his-name are terribly overexposed.

...someday I'm going to blow the lid off of some of what goes on on this board. Readers would be surprised...

Re: I like it!

I miss the old extravaganza, I tried to listen to the VEW version it doesn't work for me. I could go without Brick, VEW, or Maller he gets on my nerves! or even Sedano for Farrel.

I agree, put Ferrall in the nighttime slot, but put that no-talent, gramatically-challenged JT bum out to pasture, please.

...as I listened to Steve Czaben aim to trash the winner of the Western Open (Jim Furyk) for his 'caved-in chest', his 'bald head', and his 'funky swing'...all in a oh-so-forced manner that wasn't funny in the least, the following occurred to me. The very best that Andrew Siciliano will ever be, on the radio, schtick-wise, is Steve Czaben.

I guess I have a higher opinion of Czaban than you do, but we agree on Bitterman Siciliano. I actually saw Bitterman at Game 7 of the Spurs/Pistons series here in San Antonio. He looks shorter than ever....his bitterness has to stem at least in part from a Napoleonic complex.

I am willing to give Czaban another listen...but like Bitterman Siciliano, he seems to try too hard. But I'll try some more with the guy.

I really haven't listened to Czabe enough since he is on at 5am here. I don't mind Siciliano in pocket every week. Farrel needs to be on FSR somewhere the guy is a legend.
