Message to Listeners From GM About Karlson and Mckenzie on WPDH

From the WPDH Website:

Dear WPDH listener:
As you probably already know, morning hosts Karlson & Mckenzie have suddenly, and surprisingly, decided to leave us - and you - for an opportunity to work in Boston. We fully expected them to be part of our team for a long time, at least through August 2006. Any assertion that we forced them out, fired them or weren't willing to pay them is untrue. We enjoyed having the show as much as you enjoyed listening to them.
We are deeply disappointed by their decision, but I promise that we will do our very best to make sure the next morning show meets the same high standards you’ve come to expect from 101.5 WPDH.
We appreciate your support and understanding. In the meantime, we will continue to be the Home of Rock n' Roll and do our best to support the community.

Thank You,
Chuck Benfer
General Manager
101.5 WPDH

You Get What You Give

Mr. Benfer:

It is time that the worm has turned. After YEARS of treating people the way you do, it is about time that it has come back to hurt you. There are not many tears being shed for you in the radio industry.

As for anyone who buys that self-serving pile of you-know-what that bears Up-Chuck's signature, please be assured that it was written by some corporate geek in Atlanta as The Cloud People try to fix this horrendous publicity disaster.
