Meteorolist changes continue in market

As I was grown up during the 80s we had Glenn, Ken and Johnny as our top weather men on the big 3 but now only Glenn is still there. Ken just retired and Johnny got screwed over by channel 11 and that short stint at 46 was not for him. Now Glenn still holds the top job at 2 and Another long timer Chris in town finally got the slot at 11. Now 46 just lost their top meteorologist and Ken retired from 5 back in the summer. So far there has been no announcement from 5 or 46 about replacing the chief spot. Channel 2 veteran David Chandley left because he wants to be chief somewhere and former 11 weatherman Paul Ossman is doing weekends part time at 46. At the moment Jeff hill and Paul Ossmann are handling the weather duties in the prime spot. David's non compete ends in January but I thought 5 would have made the announcement if he was going there but maybe David's contract requires any new job to be a secret until the non compete ends. Would Paul like to return to weather full time and would he like to be on 46. If Paul even wanted to return to 5 he would have quit 46 but I am not sure Fox wants paul as their chief. David has the strongest backround and experience and has the AMS certified seal like Glenn and Chris. I don't know how long Paul has been a meteorologist but he only has the NWA seal but I assume his experience in this town would be enough for 46 and 5 wants someone strong like Ken.

46 has a new chief meteorologist (replacing Markina Brown)...and unfortunately, it's not Paul Ossmann as many were expecting. He's Jim Kosek, who joined from Kansas City.

Looks like come January, David Chandley will be the new main weather guy at Fox 5!
