Method to the madness??

I like all other part 15 broadcasters enjoy doing the part 15 thing. I do my best to get the best range as possible. I have a decent listenship. I also broadcast on a 50k watt station on the weekends that is of course licensed.
As much as the rules about part 15 make me bonkers, I still have respect for them. It allows everyone to have a small station in their neighborhood. I realize that there are plenty of part 15 people in my area, however because people are basically following the part 15 rules we all have the ability to do our thing without destroying each other. Yes, I want to expand however when putting another transmitter up, I will be able to customize that frequencey to avoid that particular part 15 person in that area. If I had only one more powerful signal I would not be able to customize my transmission and give the deserved respect to that other broadcast who just like me wants to get their particular message out. I get hurt from those who crank up the watts at night here in florida. They are not on frequencey but the one next to me and it does splash over. As hard as it is to digest I have come to my own personal conclusion that part 15 has a good quality to it. And for those that want to expand, they can build more transmitters. Reality is there is part 15 and it helps to look at the postive side.
