Details are sketchy, but apparently the small Cessna had to bail out into a cornfield around Princeton this morning. At least two reporters were on board, and both reportedly ok. One was said to be Amy Bishop.

Amy Bishop is a nice person. It figures its another METRO plane. You never hear about Traffic.com/Treffic Pulse aircraft having problems. Haven't they learned anything yet over the hard landing at Joe Pool Lake two years ago? Metro has always gone CHEAP with this supplier, andpoor maintaince records. Ground them all at metro.
enough is enough!
I flew for Metro in San Francisco in 06 and 07 and always thought the planes could certainly be newer. I never had an incident, however there was one in 2007 when the plane had to land on a Highway. This was due to a mechanical failure and not weather.
Metro does not own the planes here as they contract out with a local company. The pay is the same to report traffic from the air or reprot news/traffic from the Metro studio. We would often talk about the fact that it's not really worth the risk (to fly).
