Does anybody know how Metro Traffic treats their employees? I have a friend who is thinking about working for them, not in Atlanta so local employees here can be truthful.
It's been a long time since I was there (12 years now) but I still keep in contact with some that work there. Now they are owned by Westwood One. I guess if you're part time and not expecting things like really good pay with really good benefits it'll be fine. The folks that were single and did other stuff on the side (musicians, actors, teachers etc) generally made out best. They didn't have to worry about family coverage and made up for the cash in other ways. Those that had families not so great. They still either needed another income or a spouse with another income to get by.
Does it get you on the air? Sure. was it worth it? ehhhhhhhhhhhh not so sure. And if you like working split shifts, its perfect. You can get a round of golf in everyday, you just cant afford the membership.
