Mets and Yanks both on CW 20 and FOX 61

Looks like this year both the Mets and Yanks will be on CW 20 and FOX 61. Last year the Yanks were on WCTX. Im surprised both teams will be on the same channel. And the schedule shows some Yankee games will be on both channels same goes for the Mets. Which makes it a little confusing. They should place all Yankee games on one channel and all Mets games on the other not mix the teams up on both channels.

So I guess this is what WTXX and WTIC-TV got from WCTX (the Yanks). I'd rather keep UCONN basketball on WTXX and WTIC-TV, better ratings lol.

Sounds like another nail in the coffin for WCTX to me. Maybe everyone was sick and tired of the "MyTV 9" identity catastrophe. How lame it is to mimic another station's ID just 80 miles away.

For NYC is WWOR MY 9 still the Yankees boardcaster? If so thats going to be bad for CW 20 and FOX 61 in Connecticut. Sure both will block out the station logo but the promos for MY 9, thats just going to help WCTX maybe.

So WTXX and WTIC will be showing the same game at the same time in some cases? That makes no sense since both channels pretty much have the exact same coverage area.

I believe WWOR is still the broadcaster in NYC, although I have not seen any confirmation of that on their website.
