Mets on WBBR tomorrow

The Met game will be heard on WBBR tomorrow as the Giants-Eagles game will be heard on WFAN. Thankfully, the season for the Mets is ending so there will not be any more conflicts.

If it were reversed, it would have been like the old days with the G-Men on WNEW.

Jeff in Sa-ra-so-ta!

'....thankfully ending early ....' Ah, boo on you. I'm a Mets fan, but still have room for the Yankees, and have claimed that dual citizenship since 1966. (And in 1969 was there a Yankee fan here who rooted for the Orioles in the WS? .... or was there a Yankee fan here rooting for the Red Sox in October 1986?)

Anyway:

End-of-year clearance or not, is there any revenue difference involved in sporting games between WBBR's broadcast signal and the WFAN signal? Chances are that the audience of both stations is maybe 132% male, yet maybe 90° off in attentiveness, income, signal reach, etc. Dumping off an overlapping contractual obilgation at this time of the season is expected, of course. And it's not as though a Rangers game were broadcast on WSKQ.
But would the ad rates go up, stay the same, or be cheaper on WBBR?
