METV...in NYC?

If you were to go to MeTV's website and type in any tri-state zip code, you would find that apparently WSAH-TV out of Bridgeport, but in the NYC market, is set to carry MeTV on the following channels...

Over the air: WSAH - 43
AT&T (NYC) 43
Cablevision (NYC) 77/15
Cablevision (Hrtfd/New Hvn) 24
Cablevision (Salem) 15
Charter (NYC) 22
Charter (Hrtfd/New Hvn) 22/246
Comcast (NYC) 27/19
Comcast (Hrtfd/New Hvn) 15/22/95/23
Cox (Hrtfd/New Hvn) 75
DIRECTV (NYC) 43
DISH (NYC) 43
Verizon 19

But it looks like schedule wise it could be the same as sister station WMFP Boston...TOP HEAVY WITH INFOMERCIALS!!

From what I have been told, Weigel said that they did not want their affilates to "swiss cheese" their schedule. I guess WMFP and WSAH got some kind of waiver from MeTV to do just that. Boy, infomercials are sure a pain.

Infomercials are a pain, but help pay the bills when you run a format that is not commercially viable on its own.

Is there any word on when Me-Tv starts on WSAH? I tuned in the other day and it looked like RTV was still on.

MeTV's website states 1/4/12 over the air. Some of the cable channels they list seem odd -- for Cablevision NYC it indicates 77/15. That would displace either HLN and/or QVC. The MeTV website also refers to Comcast in NYC -- something seems odd here...

Those are the markets, as the station straddles two. A bit confusing I know.

The 77 refers to Cablevision of CT's Norwalk and Bridgeport channel. But a check of the line-up for some New Haven subscribers (Milford, Orange, Woodbridge) shows WSAH on 24. For Port Chester/Harrison, Southern Westchester, and Yorktown WSAH is on 15.
