Power is well within its 18-49 range of the last year. In fact, it had two weeks in the book above the mean, and two below... in other words, statistically it is flat.

Are WAXY AM & FM a strict simulcast? If so, I wonder why they don't show a combined ratings like they do in other markets. For example, in Atlanta, you can't find a break out for WSB-AM and their FM simulcast station. It only shows as one.

Coast needs some stability. While they seem to be going in the direction of "90s to Now" with a little bit of a Rhythmic edge, WMIA already has that covered. Perhaps Coast would be better served with a new format.

Total line reporting is at the option of the stations.

And TLR only goes into effect if selected and if the simulcast was active during the entire survey period.

For more info on TLR check Arbitron's detailed explanation.... http://www.arbitron.com/radio_stations/total_line_reporting.htm

WFLC bills 80% more than WFEZ.... why would they change format on a station that is billing in the same range as WKIS, WMXJ and WMIA?

David, with all due respect, they have "adjusted" the format several times in the past year. First they largely abandoned the 80s. Then, for a time, they brought some 80s tunes back. More recently, they have added Rhythmic CHR tracks. They might be billing well, but they have not had much of a consistent format through the period.

I once talked with a GM in a medium market. His station was #5 but his billing was #1. His comment .... ;D

David there are people out there that make more money than others, it doesnt make them any better...

Two things.......funny how WSHE is beating WIOD although i wish they would have kept the SHE name

2nd...coast is toast, how many times do I need to repeat this? If they want the numbers they once enjoyed they need to suck up their gut and say "Ok, we thought we needed to cater to a younger crowed to stick around but didn't realize that the younger and older crowd LOVED WHAT WE DUMPED" Once they do that, they can bring back Totally 80s Weekends, cater themselves to a huge mix of 80s and 90s on the weekdays with the "occasional new stuff" mixed in, totally different from everyone else in Miami, and then and ONLY THEN will they reach the skies again. And give Gnarly a weekday gig, he's what makes that station different from everyone else....without him it's just another computer bore

Just my two cents...you can judge me however you want

Did you ever think that maybe Gnarly doesn't want a weekday gig? I remember an interview a few years ago where he stated he loved working the weekends and it gave him time for a better personal life. Does anyone know him personally and has he stated he wants a regular weekday gig?
