Rather than just another station playing a different assortment of what is already heard on most of our FMs already.
OK so let me get this straight here. You want to put the music on FM and the talk on AM, and I want to put the talk on FM (such as 94.9) and the music on AM (such as 790). Ironically your idea sounds more logical than my idea because that's the way it already is. I wanted to switch things up a bit and take advantage of a trend that is sweeping the nation - the FM news-talk format. I guess I also want to start a new trend - music back on its AM roots.
I like how we're talking about taking over and completely redoing two struggling stations - one on FM and one on AM - owned by two completely different corporations - as they continue on merrily doing their respective thing. It's like 'Fantasy Radio' here. It's fun. It's what radio should be.
