MIAMI HEAT BROADCASTS MOVE TO 790 THE TICKET

OK then, what'll happen come April '11 when the Marlins take the field? Which team has first dibs, and what'll happen if a conflict takes place?

cd

This is probably the first time I've ever heard of a ball club changing radio stations during the course of a season. When WNEW-AM was being sold in 1992, Giants football remained on the station through the conclusion of the season before switching to WOR the following year.

cd brings up a legitimate point. What will the Heat do when playoff time comes and the Marlins open the regular season? Will it be the Marlins who pull their games off 790? ???

The Marlins are irrelevant anyway so who cares. Sort of like the Panthers, they are eliminated from the playoffs once the season begins. Hopefully once they get in their new, taxpayer funded stadium and MAYBE get new owners that will spend some money, cough bullpen, people will care.
