From RadioInsight's recent sale report:
"Taylor Made Broadcasting Network sells AC 100.9 KGLC and Country 910 KVIS Miami OK to Michael Landis’ Land Go Radio Group for $100,000. Land Go owns “SoMo Sports Radio” 1560 WMBH/101.3 K268CP Joplin and Oldies 101.3 KHST Lamar MO. Taylor Made retains Country 99.3 KGVE Grove OK."

I've heard 99.3 in Grove OK, really good clean FM audio quality and nice variety of country music.

Way better than any large market country station in my opinion.

LandGo is named for Mike Landis’s father, Bobby, and Pat Golay. Bobby and Pat owned the AMI Joplin stations and 107.1 before cashing out to Petracom. AMI picked them up after Petracom’s bankruptcy. Not sure if Golay is involved in this iteration of the company. Can’t remember when they sold to Petracom, but it was mostly a TV operator who previously owned stations that it sold to Cumulus in the mid-to-late 1990’s. It got back into radio shortly afterward and picked up Joplin from LandGo and assembled a cluster in Texarkana (which is also owned by AMI today).

Bobby Landis is a colorful character to say the least and is well-known around Joplin. Google him if you’re curious.
