So when is Clear Channel going to do something about WIOD? 1.1 in the July book?
They have a full news department, local on-air talent with Cefalo and Sanchez (which means they each must have a producer and a board operator.)
Is this station bleeding CCMiami?
 
Blowing up the Beat has been discussed in Miramar, but there is a reason why it will not happen anytime soon. CC needs to have a hip-hop station in Miami, even an underperformer, so that when they pitch national agencies, they can include Miami as one of their markets. This comes from a WIOD/CC insider who was in my taxi.
